- Do not eat until the anesthesia wears off.
- Do not chew anything hard on the treated area for 48 hours.
- Do not floss for 48 hours.
POSSIBLE COMPLICATIONS FROM FILLINGS
- When you are numb, it is hard to tell if your occlusion is correct. Therefore, you may need a bite adjustment after the anesthesia wears off.
- If you experience any pain when chewing, you may need to have your occlusion adjusted.
- It is NORMAL to experience temperature sensitivity for up to 8 weeks after treatment. However, if you experience throbbing, spontaneous pain, you should call us immediately to be seen as soon as possible.
